Windwardside View
Windwardside View
No matter where you wander on Saba, you'll find panaromic views of the island as well as nearby islands. This one taken from the village of Windwardside, offers an unobstructed view of The Road as it begins to wind its way towards Hells Gate. Tucked neatly between Mount Scenery, The Level and Booby Hill, Windwardside at some 1500-1800 feet above sea level offers verdant glimpses at Saba's mountainside dotted with white red-roofed cottages. On this day, St. Maarten can clearly be seen some 28 miles away --- imagine what it would be like on a really clear day! So if you'd like to wake up to this view every day while your on Saba, let us know because we've got just the place for you.
