"I am an 'old' and 'brand new' cottage".   A home, not just a rental house, you will be comforted and intrigued by the owners international decorative flair.  Owners Evemarie and Guy enjoy this cottage as their refuge from the posh island of Saint Bartholomew, just 35 minutes from the contrasting island of Saba.

Your front door looks up to Mt. Scenery; the back door looks down to Core Gut.  The deck off the bedroom allows you to breakfast on the balcony or enjoy a romantic moonlit night.  By facing northeast, constant tradewinds are just another pleasantry included at no extra charge.  Evemarie's is across the street from The Brigadoon Restaurant and just a few minutes walk from the Big Rock Market and several other restaurants, shops and galleries.  With no hills or steps to conquer, it's hard to find a more conveniently located cottage.

Purchased in 1998 from the regionally famous artist family "The Lynn's", Evemarie's has been completely restored.  With patience and care, they managed to retain 'the Saban style', but added  more space and comfort.  The living and dining room are part of a small house that is approximately 200 years old.  Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are far less.  There are paintings and various ornaments brought from the owners' home city of Paris but also from their travels to Africa, South America, Canada, The Middle East, Japan, Italy, the list goes on.  Each piece was placed with a sense of appreciation for the home and for the persons that would be renting it.

Contact Lynn to check availability or book a dive package at one of Saba's most charming cottages.  A dive package including 7 nights and 10 dives, airport and daily transfers, daily maid service, government tax and hotel service charge is only $895 per person...don't forget to read our Travel Tips page...we'll even have the fridge stocked for your arrival.  For a virtual tour with panoramic images, go to Evemarie's website--still under construction.
