Carnival News     2002 Photos & Agenda     2001 Agenda

If you're planning a dive trip during the Carnival time period, no worries!  Most Carnival activities take place in the village of The Bottom so that the serenity of Windwardside will remain undisturbed.  Sea Saba is pleased to coordinate night-time transfers for divers interested in the party scene at Carnival village. Our normal policy is to run our diving schedule early on Saturday, The Grand Parade event (Aug 3), so that our guests as well as our crew won't miss the fun.  Not everyone attends every activity of Carnival but absolutely no one misses The Grand Parade--from kids to elders, all of Saba will be lined up!  Feeling uninhibited?  With a bit of planning, we may even be able to get you in a Carnival group.

Heineken Sponsors Carnival Fundraiser--May 29, 2002

SABA—Mark Johnson of the Big Rock Market, island agent for Heineken  beer, announced this week that Heineken is donating beer to a carnival fundraiser to take place Friday evening at Cove Bay.

“Heineken has been generous in the past and we are delighted that they stepped forward again this year,” Johnson said. “This should be a major party since medical students have just completed Black Monday,” he
added. The Big Rock is busy coordinating the event with this year’s carnival committee.

The party will start around 9pm and will close around 2am and is open to all.
